Really crushed it at Philz today. Paid by CC and just hit the middle 20% tip button. 3.50 + .13 sf health surcharge +.70 total of 4.33 for 20oz delicious Philz coffee!

Hmmmm, that’s still absurd for a cup of coffee. But now I’m forced to go 13 more times to pay for my $15 travel mug.

Dr. Narwhals Mating is going to be TOUGH to beat imo. But there are so many awesome ones.

Hand to God. In one of the cases, a mutual friend of my wife and the person who named their child "Kid" ended their friendship over it (or at least the fight about it ended the friendship). The mutual friend is usually not someone who I can support in any fashion, but frankly took appropriate action in this case imo.

It might be the worst I've ever heard. Like, some people take some random word they like and use it as a name and it's silly or whatever. Example: Quill. I know two Quills. It's annoying and not a good name imo but whatever. People will generally recognize it as such and move on. The person named Kid is going to have to explain that's actually their name like twice a day for the rest of their life.

I have a friend with the last name Rock. If she has a kid and names it Kid, I could get behind that.

I can understand naming dogs with a joke name like “chili” or “hot,” but dogs don’t have to explain ****. Naming someone “kid” is ridiculous and annoying.

I have it as an all-Dr. final with Dr. Dongo Pewee joining Dr. Mating.
