science geeks, periodic table abbreviations

got 89 out of 112, majority of the ones i missed where either earth metals or the other inner transition group (forgot the name)...**** the ones from 113-118, they aren't even real imo so i won't count them

ugghghghgh so frustrating

And I've learned a ****load about absorbed radiation, in MULTIPLE different contexts and settings, and I've NEVER heard of that answer. I've learned about it in medicine, I worked at a facility that processed reactor fuel, I did "hot" work, went through like 50 hours of radiation safety training. NEVER heard of that before. The Equiv Dose one, sure. The radioactivity one, obv. But the absorded radiation?

that's a good one. best way to do it is to narrate one's own life, peter griffin style, and just think of the common words. i got 69.

That would be a pretty silly strategy considering they give you red or black to denote American League or National League winners.

Pretty disappointed I stalled out on a couple and didn't make it through this. I know most of the winners but was too slow trying to remember all the original 8 teams in each league on the ones I had to completely guess. A couple misspellings tripped me up too when I didn't notice them and had to go through all 8 again.

Yeah that one is mostly time, because with maybe 5 or 6 exceptions, you should eventually be able to get it just from the spelling of the word. I think there are only a handful that dont just use the first available letters in the name. If you know the exceptions cold you can power through the rest quickly.
