Richard Branston's Virgin Galactic already had one disaster when several years ago, the pilot deployed the feathering wing too early. The resulting disintegration of the vehicle killed one of the two people on board.

Also last July when Branston flew on the rocket, there were several anomalies that could have been bad for that crew. The FAA has grounded Virgin Galactic from further human flights until those issues are corrected.

Elon is giving a Starship update this Thursday at 8pm CST at Starbase, TX!

As a backdrop for the presentation, they are stacking Starship 20 and Booster 4.

Starship 20 is in the Chopstick arms now.

Last week a solar storm expanded Earths atmosphere causing excessive drag on the recently launched Starlinks. Bad timing by SpaceX. Unlucky.

Time lapse of tonight's Starship stacking:

Starship is 160 feet (50m) tall
Booster is 230 feet (70m) tall

Both stacked are 390 feet (120m) tall which is 30 feet (9m) taller than a Saturn 5 moon rocket!
