K, I walk by this kid about 4 days per week when I get my afternoon coffee. 
He never seems stoned or drunk. He's always out on the street at the intersection. He never says anything to me or anyone else, just holds his sign, so I never say anything to him. I usually just give him $1 and keep moving. I should do something diff tho. What can I do to help him? I'm considering talking to him, asking him what kind of help he needs or maybe give him a portion of my next poker win.
He's been out there with his sign for a couple of months.

Anybody remember a 60 Minutes type story on those guys making a killing in San Franscisco in the financial district? Some of those guys were making bank.
