What's the OOT verdict on the Instant Pot?

Thought it would be awesome, used it a few times successfully (short ribs were definitely a success, can't even remember what else I've tried), wife does not appear to buy into its awesomeness. So it's mainly unused for us. It's a big disappointment for me because I still feel like it should be awesome, and we have friends who love theirs.

Better than a Crock Pot.

If you have a slow cooker/crock pot, it's worth getting the Instapot and throwing your old one out. We use it probably 1-2 times per month, a slight increase over how often we used a crock pot.

Made some bacon today for BLTs tonight and figured tater tots with it. Just dumped all the tots into the bacon fat on the tray from earlier. Go me.

Sparky was a strong contender until I revealed to my wife that I'd refer to him as Sparky Anderson. She hates the first name-last name thing with pets.
