Blue cheese is the most overrated cheese of all. It’s gross and overpowers the flavor of everything it’s with. Literally even a crumb of blue cheese blows my palate out and I can’t taste anything else. Maybe in hypersensitive to it.
I also can not stand blue cheese. I guess it's just not for McMuffin.

Cougar Gold keeps getting mentioned. I’ve never heard of it but looked it up and it’s some sort of canned cheese. Is it legitimately good or are people making a joke because it’s terrible?
In 1993, the American Cheese Society awarded Cougar Gold with a blue ribbon, and in 1995, the cheese earned the United States Cheese Champion silver medal. Cougar Gold later received a silver medal at the 2000 World Cheese Awards and a gold medal at the 2006 World Cheese Awards.
I haven't ever let a tin age really, not for more than a month anyway. The site says that the average Cougar Gold tin they sell is 14-months aged though.

I like blue cheese with buffalo wings, crumbled on salads, and on burgers
The cheese thread seems like an appropriate place to note the passing Anne Saxelby. She was a very nice woman and had a huge impact in promoting artisanal American cheese producers. She was only 40.
While good cottage cheese is great, bad cottage cheese can turn me off of it for a year or two. My go-to is jalapenos, hot sauce, and s&p on a cup or two. Nice brotein bomb.
Also gotta go full fat. That runny **** is what gives cottage cheese a bad name.
