But he's not sharp. If he was sharp he wouldn't be the person he is. So instead I'm left to hack through insults like, "Hey did you know that I don't know that currencies and assets are frictionlessly traded? Take that!"

I think hes pretty sharp. he knows how to shape the law to throw more people in jail. and by people I mean black children. that takes intelligence and mental fortitude.

Jman420 wasn't totally wrong, I did have a struck nerve this morning or whenever that was.

I'm getting closer to pinpointing what's upsetting me, and I think it's related to the Fermi Paradox that isn't a paradox.

Basically, I imagine the aliens zooming around and as they start to slow down they see people like lonely_but_rich and the aliens in the backseat start screeching to keep driving. And I find this somewhat upsettingly strikes a nerve. It'd be pretty cool to make first contact in my lifetime and I don't like to be reminded why it won't happen.

I imagine there'd be one alien pleading his case to stop, like, "Yes I know they're able to communicate across huge distances at almost the speed of light to interact with people different than themselves and that one there just corrects typos when it's not grunting out a sentence of gibberish BUT THEY'RE NOT ALL LIKE THAT!"
