#1 is a billion times better, but it's not Robert Frost or anything. #2 is clearly OP trying to give an example of what crappy poetry that people think is good sounds like.

#1 is the award-winner, obviously.

Is this from one of those poetry scam sites? Ya, basically they get people to submit anything and then say that they won -> they can pay to find their poem in some 'recognized' book.

Poem 1 is the winner. This is because it has some semblance of meter.
It still really sucks though and was probably written by an emo/crazy/douche

Whereas poem 2 just sucks

P.S. If people are discussing poems, I love to overuse "anthology". For example, "I really like Robert Frost poems!" "Yes, the anthology of Frost poems shows why his anthology was great. I read that anthology too."

Both suck.

Poems are typically regarded on being good or bad by how well known the author is so it makes sense that both suck.
