A domestic turkey on a plane is ridiculous. Wild turkey on a plane is essential.

Thought airlines made tons of money by putting mail and such in the cargo area.

Also, that turkey guy, who was probably doing that for fun (i assume) was being a huge ******* by exposing everyone to bird dander in an enclosed space like that. That **** can cause hypersensitivity pneumonitis is sensitive people, resulting in permanent damage to lungs. Bird dander also spreads infectious diseases like histoplasmosis if the turkey is a carrier.

International freight and mail brings in nice $$. Business flyers buying last minute tickets some time pay 8x and up for the same seat that someone bought a month ago sitting next to them. They have different avenues for income- the family who shops online for weeks for the summer vacation and checks a couple bags/ are not big profit producers. Such a large % comes from Business travelers and things like cargo and mail. They do make quite a bit on luggage too, charging people for checking luggage has not slowed people down from checking bags in.

Diane Gangemi, of Medford Township, Burlington County, said she has a physical condition and carries three small Yorkshire terriers who are trained to warn her of an impending episode. But, she said, the Showboat Casino Hotel refused to let her take the dogs into a Sunday brunch at its buffet, and she filed a complaint under the Americans With Disabilities Act.
You gotta be ****in' kidding me. The only physical condition here is brain damage.

These people are just crazy, entitled *****, nothing more.

When you combine the average casino patron and people who want to cart their corkapoo or whatever as a "service" animal, you get the nut low of society.

People with "disabilities" shouldn't be unreasonable in requests for how society accommodates them.

Well yeah, a dog won't help with your posting disabilities, but if a medical expert says a dog trained x way helps with y disability, how is this now a "disability" and not legit?

I'm talking about what the medical profession says about said disability. They think a dog helps blind people to walk without human assistance, for example. Also, apparently you think there is no such thing as mental illness... "just put yer chin up, pussy..."

Since you seem to be a bit clueless, most of those people can still function without their animal, but the animal makes it easier for them to function in certain situations. With more and more of these situations being successful, they can gradually transition toward doing these tasks without the animal (or medication for those using meds instead) and live normally.

There's like a whole field of education/research/doctors/medications dedicated toward this stuff. It's called psychology.

I don't care enough to write an essay. My point is how much should society bend over to accommodate. No peanuts on an airplane, fine. Dogs in restaurants, not fine.

Sure, so long as you have no problem being the guy taking the blind guy to the bathroom in the restaurant.

The argument isn't blind people should not have dogs. It is ocd\ fragile people shouldn't be able to take their pets with them where ever they please.

Land O Lakes,

What if my mental illness requires me to smoke marijuana? Should I be allowed to smoke in a non-smoking restaurant?

Emotional support animals have not been trained to do any tasks that help their human companion

Under new Ontario regulations people can smoke medical marijuana in any public place where smoking is otherwise banned. The exemption includes everything from movie theatres to restaurants, offices, stadiums, playgrounds full of children and more – even the legislature.

You must know that there is a whole scam industry supporting this crap. Anyone can pay $70 and get their dog designated as an ESA. I see this scam every day in my job and imo most of the people I see are simply gaming the system. I know one guy personally who does this so his dog can sit on his lap at the poker table.
