Nah.
Just send all your monies to mark. If you don't get it back, you know who's responsible!

I'm cool with this as long as somebody more tech savvy than me can construct the board.

Yes. Just the numbers.

I can escrow and guarantee a 10% return after week 1 of cfb season.

Just wanted to update everyone.

I had done cologuard as an alternative to a colonoscopy (i hit 45 this year and it's recommended to get checked out). The cologuard came back positive, which meant I had to do a full colonoscopy. Pending that result, i didn't want to chance having a life-altering illness that might have interfered with running the pool and paying out any monies collected.

I had the full colonoscopy today, finally, and it was totally negative. No masses, no polyps, nothing. I'm good for 10 years before i need another exam now.

Sorry for having to bow out, but like I said, i didn't want to collect money and have any issues running the pool(s) and paying out funds weekly.

Hopefully you all understand and don't hold it against me. I appreciate everyone wanting to be involved and will plan to get this going next year. If anyone has suggestions on how to implement it and make it better, i am open to ideas, regardless of how early it is.

As I said before, I'll definitely be back for March Madness with a pool, and I'll be joining SB squares for sure!

Red and Cowboy: thanks. I know real life takes precedence, but i still can't help feeling bad that I had what seemed to be a fun idea and couldn't follow through. I appreciate the kind words.

Mark: I was told since i have no symptoms, no family history, and nothing was found, i can wait 10 years. Given my issues with the prep (liquid made me sick, so i had to reschedule and used pills the 2nd time, which was a much better experience), i am happy to have a 10 year gap.

Bidz: Good luck and best wishes on staying clear of any issues.

Brian: thanks to you as well. 10yr club is preferred for sure!

Great news!

After my first the guy said "never again" which I wholeheartedly agreed with. I think he didn't want to risk another encounter with me. I honestly think I may have threatened to kill him while I was obviously not adequately sedated.

My PCP refused to believe that he told me no more, and after many lies about the date of that colonoscopy, she sent me to see a GI guy who dismissed my story and also wouldn't hear my pleas for Cologuard for exactly the reason you ran into. I relented and consented. "Come back in 5 years." Yahoo! A few weeks later I got a letter saying, "Whoops. Polyps. Forget what we said about 5 years. We'll see you in three years." grr!

That one was negative and I am now enjoying a hiatus of either 5 or 10 years. I don't remember which, but I will try to delay whatever sentence they handed down.

ETA: Oops. Didn't meant to quote Mark and say great news. That was obviously meant for cokeboy.

Thanks. The one bright spot is that as soon as they administered the anesthesia (a mix of fentanyl and versed), I was out and the next thing I knew, i was awake and told all clear with nothing found whatsoever. So aside from the prep, the procedure itself was smooth and I have no memories of a camera up my @ss.

I was so out during the whole thing i have no clue what they touched, and what they didn't. I have to believe they were honest about the procedure, but if aliens used the same anesthesia I got, no one would ever remember an anal probe.

If you would have skipped the cologuard test, all of this angst could have been avoided.

Yeah the procedure’s no issue. It’s the prep that ****ing blows.

This x1000. I couldn't do the liquid prep i was given. Salty as hell, and i was throwing up within an hour of starting it. With the pills, it was much smoother, and i made sure to hydrate a lot more to be safe.

I did the pills too. I guess they told me 5 years since there were a couple of polyps hanging out in there.

This. That morning, I thought I'd go to work, it won't be too bad. For some reason I can't recall, I reversed that decision and worked from home. Man, was I ever glad of that.

Congratulations on the good news, cokeboy!

There is never a bad time to talk about buttstuff.

Thanks, much appreciated. I am not ready for life-changing events yet.

Looking to get interest for this again. Planning a new thread but wanted to bump this for visibility.

Hoping to get filled and be able to randomize 10 times (2 weeks per set of numbers) before the season starts.

I will start an interest list for a $20 board and a $100 board. I won't ask for any funds until we are at least 75% full. Payouts will be based on only the final score of the latest sunday game and will be $100 per week for the $20 board, and $500 per week for the $100 board.

I figure if we start an interest list now we can potentially fill 1 or both boards by the time the season starts.

Please wait for the new thread to submit interest!! Just wanted to get the info out there for now.
