Yeah, I would enjoy getting one of those impossible boards once in a while in "B&M" boggle, great for getting some rest when your hand is tired. It's fun when everybody writes the same eight words and then stares at the tray for a while, and then the winner is the guy who finds NTH or something.

I get a lot of the 2 letter words just flicking my thumb around the screen randomly. I can't watch Sangamans video right now on my phone but I'll check it out later, I wonder how his style compares to mine.

You should! It's a great way to improve.

Dubness literally just did it vs me, he got 118/232. I've noticed he likes to get the 2 letter words a lot so he frequently gets more words than I do.

yes but i am just a fish who sometimes goes on heaters, working on my game tho. gonna try and have a better showing next tourney

ok, after playing those last few rounds against chronick and sanga i've concluded i'm not a fish, but i really need to focus and play my A game to compete with the top notch guys in the tourney. also just started reusing double double freeze after going to fr/ins for a while, we'll see how that turns out

Pretty much how I feel. And Sanga, that's why it's taking me so long to finish our games. I play warmups and only against you if I'm doing well.

Just got 100/197 words. I've never really paid attention to total words possible, so afaik that's the first time I've gotten >50% of the words.

Yeah that makes sense, take your time since we're still a bit ahead of pace anyway. I've been warming up and only playing when there are no distractions for the tournament games recently too, but frankly I think I still got a little careless in our last match going into round 3 up triple digits and up a game - and look where that got me.

Fixed this - I got Bacon's score off an earlier revision of the spreadsheet.

For the finals and 3rd place game, players should start at least two games right off the bat in the interest of speeding things up. I don't think there's any reason to limit it to one game at a time unless there's an elimination game involved.

I'm already looking forward to the next tournament. Loved the round robin march madness style frenzy.

Bacon beat me 2-1 and advances, ggs. Some weird boards in our matches. This was the reason H2H > whatever points system for seeds, would have avoided Bacon (who is def underseeded).

We've played quite a bit since the tournament started...at the beginning he was beating me every time, but I've improved since then. He is still definitely better though, beats me maybe 3 out of 4 times? I haven't kept track but that's about how it feels to me.

curious how many missed words you think you guys have in a round? i too often forget which words i've found and spend too much time guessing phonies.
