We have >16 already so there will be a play-in round (or a bunch of players with byes, depending on how you look at it). Unless we wind up with >24 teams, I'm going to propose that the play-in round be a 1 game series so that the rest of the players don't have to wait too long for their games to start.

wtf how do I delete an active game in Scramble on Android? I've got the maximum number of games and like half of them haven't played in 7+ days. I tried holding on the game, swiping right to left & left to right and I'm still not able to do it...

I think you just have to wait for them to forfeit. In words with friends it autoforfeits after the 11th day, probably the same for this. Nothing else you can do but wait and have people start new games with you.

We're at 22 right now. Going to leave registration open for the next 30 minutes then close it and let the games begin, last chance to sign up for anyone who's interested. It's a lot of round robin games, but it should be doable within a week.

We should have a standard message in the SWF chat where we designate which games will count for the tournament. I assume we will all still be playing casual/scrimmage matches with each other once the tournament has started.

Yeah, this is a must for anyone who has ongoing casual games with other players in the tournament. I'm planning on saying something to the effect of "This is for the 2p2 tournament" in all the games I'm playing for the tournament. I put something about this on the signup sheet.

Also we should be careful not to start a tournament game with someone who's already started that same game, unless of course it's a best of 3 or best of 5 for the knockout stage. If that happens, whichever game is started first should count for the tournament.

Anyway, it's about that time so shuffle up and deal. Top 10 finishers in the round robin get a bye, the rest have a 1 game series to get to the round of 16. GL everyone.

People should post screenshots of their mathes so we can see the results of other games. Championship match should be live streamed on Justin.tv or something.

Also be EXTRA careful not to deny someone's request for a game if it is a tournament match. Would really suck for someone to put up a sick round 1 only for their opponent to misclick and not accept my match request.

Aaaaand I'm at the 20 game max and can't start anymore. Gotta finish other games. Tokens have never been so precious - will only use 1 token on my non-tourney games.

Got your score on the spreadsheet, the first one up. I think the formulas are all good now, only thing to keep in mind is to put scores in on the 2nd page with the big chart. I figured it would be too hard to increment your points for/points against after each game with totals going into the 5 digits, especially since you wouldn't be able to tell if/when your opponent already adjusted your score for you.

I think I've put enough instructions/notes on the spreadsheet so that people should be able to figure it out, but if anyone is confused then let me know.

Found another bug.

If you start a game and then halfway interrupt it (usually you get x:xx remaining), then open another platform, you'll start at the full 2:00 (i.e. go from phone to ipad), but then your next round (i.e. if you did that round 2, then round 3) you will only start with x:xx from whatever your previous round was.
