Not sure if the league is still active, but if so, I just signed back up for season 46 for the first time in 5 seasons but what feels like forever.

It's still rolling along, albeit with a little lower participation than in the past. Welcome back Ben.

Next season should begin in a few days! Groups are all set.

Thanks! Participation seems to have dropped a lot. Not used to seeing only 6 players in a group. That's too bad that the number of active players is dropping oh well. Good luck this season!

Oops, thanks for pointing that out. It was totally an error on our part in our group creation....we will fix it...totally messed something up.

Did I read somewhere you're allowed to do 3 powerups in league now? If so, that would explain why I've been losing so much!

Nope babs, still 2 power up max.

If Zynga ever implemented something showing what powerups your opponent used, that would show who's following the rules(hopefully everyone is anyway).

New high game score by over 300 points - and I used only 1 PU per round this game. Amazing round 3 board. This would have easily been a 12K+ game with 2 PU per round. Rounds 2 and 3 were really loaded. This might be the highest known score, though I believe Yxk also has a game in the 11600-11700 range iirc. Really wish I used 2 PU.

Greg, what happened to the rule of "Start game 2 while other game is in progress" or something like that? Seems like over half of my group members forgot about that. Not sure how many people actually closely read those emails, so maybe put up a post at the beginning of each season on the Facebook page reminding people.

Searched the forums and didn't see a Zynga thread anywhere and I believe some ppl ITT have the ear of a zynga rep or something like that.

Since when did Zynga change from charging $0.99 to get rid of adds to $9.99 for the same service?

This is speaking of Words with Friends, not Scramble as I paid $0.99 for Scramble years ago.

I tried to pay $0.99 for the no ads version of WwF when I downloaded it to N4 2 years ago but I received an error saying that it wasn't available in Canada (not sure how this could be, but sure) and now this "New" WwF is released in 2014 and to get rid of ads the cost is $9.99. WTF????!?!?

The ads are getting longer and longer. 30s commercials, movie trailers and other such things. Sure they get bothersome to me, esp when I play 8 turns in a row and wait this 4 combined minutes of ad time. but $9.99??? give me a break.

Zynga's always been ridiculous. Even though I have the full version of Ruzzle($2.99 well spent in-app purchase) I'm pretty sure the ads there are less annoying. But they also get you there by having a 10 game limit compared to no limit with premium where as in Scramble, it's a 21 or 22 game limit no matter what.

Remind your opponents to rematch you as soon as they play round 1 without doing so. I NEVER play round 2 until they've rematched
