garcia stopped playing?

I play this a lot. I'm not great - but win more than I lose (probably have some dumb friends).

Anyway - has this happened to anyone: Playing a cousin - we've played 10 times; I've won 10 times. Very few have been close and she's just not good (bad strategy opening up bonus tiles; etc).

We don't play for ~ a week and she challenges me again.

She opens with "swedes" (awful obviously) I play fon under the ede in swedes and for her second play - she throws up m-e-n-a-d-i-o-n-e using the en we've already established. She goes on to play the most closed/defensive game I've played - and destroys me 488 to 295 (a solid 200 higher than she's ever scored before)

Does she think I won't realize that she's cheating?? (didn't cheat on her opening word though ldo)

Interesting...the obscure 9-letter bingo is a classic sign of cheating, but the fact that she actually altered the playing style is unusual unless she was using a pretty advanced program to cheat with. It's possible that once she had a lead on you, she was just smart enough to sit on it and not open anything up (people do learn eventually, lol).

I'd LOVE for game center to pick up WWF and show high game score, high word score, win% etc...

I don't think so - board was incredibly closed - so tight that I was having to pass turns even with tiles in the bag...but at the same time - she was still playing very quickly (within minutes) and finding places to play. Think it had to be a program where you type in the board and it shows your optimal play based on your rack

The game glitched on me and allowed "FN" as a word and gave me the correct amount of points.

Now I'm setup for a 100+ word, but only if I can get FN to work again.

If anyone thinks they're pretty-to-very good at this I wouldn't mind starting up a game or two again for when I'm bored out of my mind, or taking an extra long dump.

IM not that good at this game(i think), but this is the most defensive game I have been in, noone wants to open up the TWs

Yeah, was about to say some of those triples be open, I've played more closed games than that. Could also do a 5/6 letter word going across ending in -A, -O, -AT, etc.

Any ideas?

barring REWEDS or the low probability NEWLYWEDS, hooking an A in front of TAP is going to be the only real way to open up the board.
also, sop might have some front extensions but I'm too lazy to look it up.
