I'm neutral. I wouldn't mind playing 3 games vs everyone in group but that would just add more problems to finishing on time. Do you think you're gonna stick with 8/9 players per group? Any thoughts on going to 10-12 if this gets bigger?

also I just got 64/226 words in round 3...worst round I've ever seen. now that I got that out of the way before starting league play, I like my chances this season!

God I started a bunch of my league games because I was waiting at the car shop for my car to get inspected and was very bored. Huge mistake as I was not playing peak scramble. I play my best scramble at night and at home in my living room chair. Won't make that mistake again.

Well I won't play in a distracting environment again. I don't know if I'll be able to only play at night but I will definitely never play in the first 6 hours of being awake I never feel as fast.

Scramble is srs biz.

ya i pretty much never play under non-optimal conditions any more haha

i've blasted out rounds 30 seconds after waking up on occasion and regretted it. sometimes i consider playing at my desk during lunch but 1) i cant play without sound so have to use headphones and 2) i'm super paranoid someone will come and try to talk to me.

I think myself in full concentration mode is like a 1000 point favorite over myself in a noisy environment.

I have to battle tilt when I just turned in a bad round or two, realize I'm not in an optimal playing situation, but want to keep playing to "get even." I've gotten quite good at overcoming this urge in poker but still a work in progress in scramble.

Btw curtains and everyone, I took the liberty of tweaking the spreadsheet so that players with 0 games played will have a win percentage of 0% instead of the #DIV/0! message. This accomplishes two things, the standings look a little prettier and people with 0 games played don't automatically sort to the top of the standings as they did in the past. Everything else remains the same.

i don't know why, but i can't see the league spreadsheet. when i try to open it, it says "Sorry, the page (or document) you have requested does not exist."

i'm on a mac, so don't know if that plays a factor, although i doubt it's that. i'm sure many others are as well.

i opened sanga's spreadsheet in the following post and it opened ok, so not sure what the problem is.

Asinynickel at least just get some of the books, they're well worth it.. i bought two of them on increasing your health for poker, also, Tommy Angelo's series eight fold path to poker mindfullness or something like that is gold.
