sort of, never had a kitten this young before so not sure what's normal

first two days he barely moved, looked super weak, would just kind of take a liquid dump where he laid and i honestly didn't think he'd make it

two days later was walking around very slowly and cautiously and using the litter box, even going to bathroom door and meowing if we forgot and left it closed

it looks like he's at least doubled it length (tail is much longer too) in like a week and now much heavier

play with him daily and have noticed tremendous growth in his strength and he's just recently started running around full speed and leaping about in the air

claws finally became fully retractable yesterday (supposed to happen at 4 weeks) so he's no longer getting stuck on things all the time which was often hilarious

past week or so he's been in the anything and everything is a toy phase of his life so it's really annoying trying to do work on the laptop and he'll keep on sneak attacking me and jumping on the keyboard or up over the screen from behind and i got to spend a bunch of time tiring him out first if i want to get any semblance of work done as a result

it's kind of cool that whenever we leave the house his instinct takes over and he goes into hiding, even if i go to pick up a package or whatever if he was lounging on the couch when i left I'd find him hidden underneath it when i come back and he'll always pop his head out, make sure it's safe and then come out

it's pretty hard to imagine this devil that attacks my laptop enough to literally close it shut was a dirty immobile ball of fur like a week or so ago

Thankfully my cat has become about 50 times more chill since that dreadful period.

at least once a day i am tempted to force him to rail a line of xanax or ambien, if he's tired he'll be such a sweetheart but otherwise he's just running around and attacking anything that seems attackable

really glad gf bought a bunch of toys, i kept arguing he's a ffing kitten a shoelace is all he needs, needless to say once the toys arrived he no longer gives an f about the shoelace so those toy people sure know what they are doing

serious question does anyone ever disclose their history with the game when playing in a soft low stakes game with pure recs?

for me personally, if someone asks about my history with the game or whatever i don't go into specifics but i'm always super clear i used to play heavily for not insignificant amountswithout stating any fancy or specific words like pro but i never bring it up on my on my own but feel kind of scummy for not voluntarily disclosing
