MLYLT - I think your doing it wrong. When assuming the position on the throne, think Rodin's The Thinker, not sprawled out on a Barcalounger. Under no circumstances should you be in any position where someone would be able to sit on your lap while you are doing your business. I hope this helps.

Heheh. My old King Charles Spaniel (RIP Brianna) decided she was going to charge a big old buck deer in our backyard. She got about 10-ft away and stopped.

The big old buck turned and looked at her like, "wtf you gonna do now"?

Was in Maine once making a packy run by myself on a road cut into a mountain, where on the left is a steep face and on the right is a steep dropoff, and a ****ing moose comes galloping UP the face of the hill like 20 feet in front of me as I was going 40. ****ing HUGE.

You really don't want me to be able to sleep tonight, do you.

I had decided to take some time off away, and thought off-roading and some wilderness camping would be cool. So Mama RoundGuy said I could take her 4-wheel drive Durango (We're talking 1995 style here).

I packed up about a 100-freaking-pound backpack with everything I would ever need.

There's an off-road pass between Leadville, CO, over Mosquito Pass, and a cool old abandoned mining complex on the other side. I decided I would camp there.

Unfortunately, I'd never driven over anything worse than an Iowa gravel road in my life.
