come on guys how did this post make it out of retirement,

focus
I don't know, but I am glad it did. This is by far the funniest thing I have ever read on 2+2. The story ran out of steam somewhere on page three, but up until then it was 96% pure hilarity.

I have always heard reference to the "lathe in the living room" thread, but never saw the thread titled, "lathe in the living room" so was not sure what everyone was talking about. All is now right in my world.

I really wasn't interested in this thread because it's a pretty standard scenario.

But then I read the 2nd post.

Very glad I reconsidered. That wiki picture is history.

Maybe I'm not the sharpest gouge in the lathe tool drawer, or maybe Wikipedia fixed something before I could see, but what's the joke here? I followed the link hoping to see our lathe pic in Wikipedia, but it wasn't there.

if you look at the history, you can see the last edit "undid" a photo named "lathelivingroom.jpg". Obviously that is our pic of a lathe that we all love.

It only took 15 minutes for someone to edit the pic out. Wikipedia is serious business.

Looks like someone on OOT is a stickler for wiki standards. I undid his change. If you see a non-living room version of the lathe, go to history, and undo the change. BBV4L took over drawball, lets take over wiki (at least the lathe article).

Talk to him, see if he's receptive. If so, give him a chance to shape up.

If that doesn't work, then pay the cancellation fee and sign a new lease with the other guy included. It's worth it to avoid locking [censored] in your room and dealing with a [censored] roommate for another year.
I agree! I couldn't live with someone like that at all!

I put a copyright on it. Hopefully that will shut them up. Keep checking on the threads.
