Prince overrated lol. That guitar gently weeps solo is so good. There are stories of him sending studio musicians to lunch because he wasn't happy with what they were playing and they would come back and he had recorded the **** himself.

I really can't think of any artist more multi-talented than he was. Maybe the greatest of all time in that regard.

I mean he could write music, perform and play multiple instruments impeccably. He was even a great dancer and physically in amazing form back in the 80s.

I really know so very little of him. The thing that stands out to me is a story Howard Stern told about going to see his show, and Prince insisted upon doing the show with all the house lights off.

remember weird al saying prince got weird als seat moved at an award ceremony because he(prince) didnt want to sit next to him. Supposedly weird al said prince was upset that al mocked some of his songs.

thats what i thought when i read the news.
