The new Pusha T and Jay Z song is fire.

I think Pusha T is one of the dopest MCs. His album My Name is My Name was one of the better albums of the last 5 years. All of his work is pretty fire even the stop gap album Darkest before Dawn.

Cant wait for the new album and this new song is a great start.

I LOVE Push, he's in my top 3 rappers, and has been for the last 5 years (and top 5 in the last 10), but he STILL can't make an "album", its just a mixtape every single time, and a lot of the time its the same song/subject. You definitely get BARS every time, but its pretty obvious why he hasn't really ever broken through. I went to see him live about 2 months ago, it was a pretty tiny venue and he couldn't fill it.

The new Mistah Fab album is straight fire. He has a lot of guests on it and recently did a sick 5 fingers of death rap about the Golden State Warriors.

feat. Danny Brown and DOOM. Pretty funky, and it looks like there'll be a few other hip hop features on their new album

Young Thug X Travis Scott ft. Quavo - Pick Up The Phone

10 seconds of silence at the beginning. Travis leaked this for the people and the label took it down.

So the Cruel Winter track dropped on a radio show and Kanye was being interviewed on it. They played Runaway and Kanye rapped along, interviewer joined in during the chorus and Kanye says that he didn't ask for backup lololol

A year ago, I started choosing one classic album per month to put in my Hall of Fame playlist. Here are my choices for the first 12 months. Let me know if you disagree with any of the choices, and tell me what you would have picked instead.

Illmatic
Enter the Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers
The Great Adventures of Slick Rick
The Chronic
Ready to Die
Reasonable Doubt
Liquid Swords
The College Dropout
The Score
Doggystyle
All Eyez on Me
The Marshall Mathers LP

I'd have picked most of those, I think. But added:

De La Soul - 3 Feet High and Rising
Tribe Called Quest - Low End Theory
Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp A Butterfly (though GKMC would be fine)

Aquemini
Black on Both Sides
Paul's Boutique
Madvillainy
Things Fall Apart

I would leave out Kendrick only because I think to be a classic it has to have been out at least 10 years.

Good choices so far. Fairly predictable/conventional, but there's a reason the classics are the classics.

Fair point. I think I'll step aside for this one and just enjoy the reading of it later. I'd have to go through my entire collection and I'd actually feel bad for leaving some albums out, which I already did.
