I don't dislike TML but I do strongly dislike a few songs which is more than I can say about most of his other projects

Before pablo dropped I just wanted a Graduation level album (was afraid he'd lost it and Graduation is like my 3rd lowest ranked Kanye project which isn't saying too much in absolute terms bc I'm a huge Kanye stan). And I came away satisfied. I'm still not sure where I'd place it but closer to the top than bottom id say

Really enjoying Coloring Book. After first two listens though not as great as acid rap, yet.

Definitely not a let down

Drake:
TC>NWTS>>TML>>>IYRITL>Views>thing with future. I'm not a big fan of his newest stuff.

I quickly listened to Views, I enjoy Controlla, 9 and One Dance.

Kanye:
TLOP is a classic. Waves - FML - Real Friends is the best 3 songs on a row I've ever listened, it also fits perfectly with my commute in the morning.

Just curious, how do you pronounce Kanye? KAN-YE or KA-NEE?

Most of the beats on Coloring Book sound like background music, and the production isn't very good or it isn't mixed down right. Something. Next time I go to the dentist maybe I'll put it in my headphones. Meantime, still rockin Death Grips & waiting for HiTunes.

I realized from this thread that I had never listened to NWTS so I checked that out. It's better than Views but weaker than his first two albums imo. I really like Wu-Tang Forever though, probably my favorite Drake song of all time.

Chance made a song with Mick Jenkins that somehow didn't make the tape, and it's better than everything on there imo

since reading the Kanye album rankings itt I've been listening to his whole catalog. I think he's the first real deal instance of artistic genius channeled through hip-hop culture. roll your eyes-I probably deserve it-but it's true. I don't even think TLOP is his best album but its has his 2 or 3 of his best songs.

Last Call off College Dropout is worth a re-listen-all 12 minutes. the story of him putting himself on is so cool, and 12 years later he still puts out pure realness. I wasn't listening to Views 15 minutes after it dropped. Kanye's **** will still be relevant in 15 years.

kanye is good for sure and there are tons of songs of his that can randomly come on while listening to Itunes and i still listen to them and sing them, even some that are 6-7 years old, some newer some older

im through Views 3 times maybe and i think it to is only getting better. in one of the songs on views, dont remember which one, Drake says something along the lines of "views" is already a classic. Seems hes pretty big on the album and so am i. i like the soft Drizzy

digging the Chance mixtape.

I wish it was a little more Gospel-Inspired and less straight up Gospel. There are a few stretches that are tough to get through but overall, I like it a lot, and there are some good straight up bangers in there too.

Jay Electronica's verse is insane.

Highlights for me are: All we got, No Problem, Summer friends, Mixtape, Juke Jam, All Night, finish line

This new Payroll Giovanni x Cardo tape is straight fire: http://www.hotnewhiphop.com/payroll-...pe.116408.html

Cardo also did a nice tape with the very underrated Bay Area rapper Nef the Pharaoh earlier this year: http://www.livemixtapes.com/mixtapes...got-wings.html
