Excellent writeup on DS2. I was wondering why Drake's feature (the only one on the album) didn't fit in, this writeup helped me realize it's too organized and coherent. Future is so effortlessly spontaneous that Drake's calculated manner seems like trying too hard.

If you at all enjoy lil dickys singles or anything his album is really good. If not I imagine it won't convert you as a fan.

Worth it to at least listen to the skits(meet the burds, hannibal, parental advisory, parents still don't understand d) . They are all hilarious.

Also if I had to pick a song to listen to I would do antagonist or beginning of truman(the least jokey songs). Or pillow talk. Pillow talk is hilarious.

That is a completely biased interview. Unless there is a beginning thats cut off, from the get go the dude is setting up the interview to convey the story he wants.

And I dont really see him being banned from hhh as a problem. The dude understands the current way to get famous. ASAP rocky was pimped out by yams blog and changed his style over and over again until he got famous. This is along the same lines, he is trying to get hits and views. The dude worked in marketing.

Ya sure vote manipulation is against the rules, so he got banned. He prob understood that when he was doing it.

I really enjoyed the album, but its something that I can only listen to every one in a while since I dont really listen to music to laugh and his actual rapping is impressive technically but the themes are lacking.
