i love my hip hop, here we go....

Classified - Trial and Error (man i didnt think this guy was underground enough not to be mentioned here, he is from canada and has other good albums besides this 1, def check him out)

DL Incognito - Sample and a Drum Machine (again a bit surprised no1 mentioned him, also from canada, also has other good albums)

RA Scion - Common Market (this album is so so sick, its 1 of my inspirational feel good hip hop albums. unfortunately they dont have any other music out. you can sample this album on amazon.com, youtube does not have anything of theirs that isnt a live recording so basically its not going to sound good)

Add-2 - www.myspace.com/add2 (this guy is at the bottom of the underground w/ out any music you can buy atm, i just heard him and liked his style, unfortunately the only way you can listen to him is to load up that myspace page and listen to the 4-5 songs he has on there)

Atmosphere - Strickly Leakage (i realize he was already mentioned but he just recently put out a free mixtape type CD called Strickly Leakage that you can d/l at rhymesayers.com, just thought id mention this b/c its good, and of course, free)

Jurassic 5 (did no1 mention them? hopefully i missed it, they are a lot of fun def check them out)

Percee P (i just really like this song, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJ_UOiV8okg , he just put out a CD you might like if u like this song but this def my fav song on the CD)

K-OS - Joyful Rebellion (he kind of transfuses hiphop w/ other types of music but it turns out very well and def worth listening to, Exit is also a good album)

Vakill - The Darkest Cloud (this def not for every1, mainly b/c his flow isnt the least bit mainstream, but if you like the darker stuff this guy has some really creative lyrics, prob 1 of the best out there w/ metaphors and word play. check this song, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3an4tlYgUU , a duo w/ Slug, doesnt truely showcase his lyrical ability but still a well thought out song)

Supernatural - S.P.I.T. (this guy is a freestyling legend, again this CD might not be for every1 but there are some solid beats in there and obviously some good verses on top of them, check if out if u are a true hip hop fan)

that all for now, ill add more if they come to me, enjoy

crooked I is real nice and now that his weekly freestyles are over he needs to get that album out. juice and him could blow up out of the west coast but BWS sucks at getting new artists heard so i doubt it will ever happen.

Phresh, nice call on WC, I always really liked his "The Streets" cut. Awesome flow overall anyway. Man, Westside Connection really was a good combo of styles.

Vakill pretty nice. I have had his Worst Fears Confirmed album for awhile and I've been sleeping on it. I bought it for the Ras Kass and Royce Da 5'9'' features. That is also the first time I heard him mentioned on here at all.

Vakill is pretty overrated. I like a few of his songs, but his flow and lines are so jumbled and stretched that it makes most of his **** unlistenable. You can add Ras Kass to my list of "incredibly terrible and super overrated rappers with jumbled and forced flows" as well.

Benefit I was bumping the **** out of in like 8th grade or so. I haven't listened to him in a long time. Last I heard he was still in law school and was only producing. http://www.beatsbybenefit.com

I can't tell if Jedi Mind Tricks is a production team or an actual rap crew? I got some ill album called "Army of Pharaohs" presented by JMT, and I also got some Lupe mixtape that is sponsored by JMT or something like that. What's the word?

Army of Pharaohs - Murda Murda

And we will bust inside ya house like Michael Jackson's Thriller"

Jedi Mind Tricks is a Philly rap group currently consisting of Vinnie Paz (incredibly mediocre to borderline horrible lyricist) and Stoupe (excellent producer). They are affiliated with another group called Army Of The Pharoahs which consists of Paz, Esoteric (terrible), Reef The Lost Cauze (very good), Chief Kamachi (meh), Apathy (good sometimes, but sounds the same on everything), and a bunch of other people. They also present certain albums from their rap affiliates like Outerspace.

Violent By Design is by far their best album and it's not close. Jus Allah was still in the group and his verses are excellent. Vinnie, then known as Ikon The Verbal Hologram, was a much better version of himself. After Violent By Design he became incredibly lazy with his lyrics, flow and delivery. Every single song has the same exact formula, from the rhyme schemes to the flow they're delivered with. Stoupe's production and his voice are the only things carrying JMT (aside from the stupid white nerds).
