I can be rousted to play Parcheesi. I also get down with Mastermind and Trouble.

I like playing hold ‘em.

The last game I got introduced to was liar’s dice which was fun to play a few rounds at the office during short breaks.

I used to play ******* a lot in Canada. I don’t remember how it works but remember it was fun.

Board games have gotten better in the last 40 years, grandpas.

Dominion. Carcassone. Ticket to ride. Tokaido. For 2 players something like Star Realms.

For drunker occasions: Safranito. Hanabi if you want to lose friends. Ghost Blitz. Kings of Tokyo. Codenames : Pictures. Anomia. Stupide Voutures is good if your friends are smart / gamblers and you can play it with normal decks of cards. Crokinole obv but then we're getting into stuff like darts and horseshoes and polo and ****.

Terrible game: Cards Against Humanity.
Terribler game: Risk.
Terriblerest game: Axis and Allies aka "Autistic kid setting up a board for 45 minutes while everyone stares."

We Didn't Play Test This at All is a fun game that screws with people that just need to win every game they play.

I played axis and allies twice. Granted it was with two brothers, one who taught debate at high school and the other studied law at ucla but I got smashed and tried to take over the world. We have fun with ****.

My family enjoys playing Wits and Wagers.

Mexican Train has been a staple in the Fruit household for about the past decade.

Great social game for all ages imo.

We played poker, monopoly and trivial pursuit at the kitchen table when I was a kid. My family now really never got into games. My 16 year old daughter plays D&D with her friends. I play board games sometimes when my nerdy friends get together, but poker is the usual.

Lol, yes. In 7th grade my biggest goal was running a reform club!

We play 7 card stud for quarter bets with my uncles and cousins every Christmas Day.

Fogg was a sharp gambler, no doubt.

It wasn’t bad **** I think, my friend is a coke fiend and swore up and down it was good ****. I didnt feel speedy like i thought i would, just kinda mellow and relaxed for about 45 minutes. My throat was uncomfortably numb for about 10.

It's less fun than cribbage simply because cribbage is a fantastic game.

This is all true except Anomia is easily the worst board game I have ever played

Cards Against Humanity is the worst game and the humor is laugh-track bad usually.

Any game where you’re subjected to someone’s spectrumness for hours at a time with no clear end in sight is a horrible invention.

How **** is the Game of Life? The only game where you can spend 2 hours having multiple kids, a station wagon and an overall stressful and debt ridden life experience. By the end of this likely mediocre and frustrating life experience that may also include divorce and bankruptcy, you’re praying for a decent retirement and to be left alone.

Friday night, on my way out of the cardroom to go home, I stopped to use the restroom. I noticed that the women’s restroom was closed for some kind of maintenance, but didn’t think about it too much, since it didn’t concern me. So, a bunch of us are standing there using the urinals when we hear a female voice announcing that since the women’s room is closed, she would be coming in to use a stall in the men’s room. And she did. I had never seen that done before, but it was really no big deal at all. I did admire her for having the guts to do that, though.

All of my friends that want to play strategy games aren't that good at them, which means they aren't that fun to play against. My friends that could be good at them only want to play poker.
My poker friends and I will sometimes play Tripoli before we start the actual poker game though. And I do like that one a lot.

I don't think anyone has mentioned scrabble or yahtzee both of which I enjoy. Zilch is also pretty fun and I have a real soft spot for Trouble. I'd be persuaded to play any game really. They're great fun. Backgammon is probably the game my bf and I play the most followed by cribbage.

I did a 3 month rental of a book from Amazon, sent it back to them via UPS a couple weeks ago and received confirmation that they received the tracking number, and I am now getting e-mails that they haven't received the book. They'll probably charge my CC for the full price of the book any day now. Am I dicked? $70 vs. $220 btw. I've been mistakenly getting Prime for free for 10+ years if that matters.

What does the tracking show?

I'd give them all the information you have about the situation, e.g., receipt from UPS, all tracking information, etc. If they try to pin either UPS's or their screwup on you, I'd reverse the credit card charge and let my credit card company deal with the details.
