I used to have a gf who would never order her own fries but always ask for "just a couple" of my fries Rapini-literally every single time I got some, then ofc eat 50-75% of them, but would get legit mad at me when I started always ordering an extra fries because of this.

This is exactly what my MIL used to do to my bf, she would actually insist that he not get anymore for her even though 100% of the time she'd demolish them. It seriously enraged him lol.

True, I’m not in that arena yet. My plan is to observe as an uncle for the next decade and then consider a spawn when I’m like 40.

I wonder how I can claim compensation if this new porn genre takes off? Agreed that kids can steal food without repercussions. The whole situation was made even worse due to the fact on one occasion he told her off for it. Not nastily or anything but she went into I'm the aggrieved party mode because you don't want to share food with your mother lol. Plus it was always takeaway and he'd be driving home while she was scoffing chips beside him so it wasn't like you could just order some more.

I’m pretty psyched for the whole experience, brother and his wife are due with their first early 2019. I remember chopstick making a post where he showered his nephew in tootsie rolls (I think it was?) and I’m trying to be that kind of uncle for sure.

I don’t know, she is kinda interesting. She survived the tsunami in Thailand by clinging to a tree for like 10 hours.

I spent approximately 3 hours hanging out in a tree as a kid one day. No tsunami though just an overactive imagination and the desire to be a forest sprite.

My brother got stuck up a tree once due to a snake.

I built a 3 story tree house when I was in 7th grade. One floor was carpeted. I think I spent the night in there a few times, but I can't remember for sure.

I'm old. That was almost 40 years ago.

There are not many trees in Kasachstan but I loved to hide in a lilac bush and build tents. Tents as well as the lilac bush were usually shared hide for me and my cat. Now I am definitely too old for both.

Apropos old. What are you doing / have done for your birthday this year? I am looking for inspiration.

What have I done for my birthday? The last time I remember doing anything special for my birthday was a party on my 17th birthday. I don't have any plans for my birthday this year. Not very inspirational I guess.
