irie,

you'll win. i'm 5'8" 200 lbs. my wife is 5'3" 120 or so and she runs between 3 and 5 miles a day, finished high in the las vegas half marathon and is in great shape.

i didn't quit smoking too long ago and rarely work out at all and i beat her in foot races all the time.

any kind of distance though and i'm obv. ****ed

Nah, not weird. I will do this with my wife, except I am real fast (she is too) and I will give her a head start every time. I think it is one of those goofy things couples do when they have been together for a long time or something.
