My gmail account gets occasional random emails from around the globe since it's firstname.lastname@gmail. I got another invitation for a bachelor party over in Europe, sounds like this one is going to be in Ireland sometime around Easter. I think this is like the third invite I've gotten from among this group of friends. I've sent my regrets in the past and explained that I don't want to pay the airfare. I'm tempted to just show up this time. Except for the whole fly to Europe thing, of course.

God damnit, Microbob. I got another solar panel load. 100 miles down the road dispatch calls me and tells me they cancelled the order so I turn around. I get 80 miles and he calls again to tell me to pull over and wait while he talks to the broker. An hour later he calls and tells me to go ahead and take them, "they're having trouble unloading trucks because of the rain." So it sounds like I'm headed to a muddy field.

Its time for me to renew my passport. Given I live in the US and am a Canadian citizen, I need to mail the current passport + visa to Ottawa. It expires before Christmas and I plan to go home for the holidays, so I need to get it done soon. I decide to overnight/2 day ship it.

I checkout fedex.com and I see two options:

- Ships friday, arrives monday, for ~$45
- Ships friday, arrives tuesday, for ~$75

I think wtf, but looks to be a weekend storage thing.


I walk to the fedex store. There are 2 clerks who appear to be doing nothing, while one is helping the person in front me. Takes 15 minutes. Finally gets to me. I need to fill out some standard forms + one special one since its a passport. As Im doing this, some chick walks in that is wearing almost no clothing, and is trying to convince the clerk that she is going to make it as a singer. She is wearing like a bathing suit top at 10:30pm in November on the east coast. Clerk is chatting her up as Im filling out these forms. He agrees to tweet a recommendation.

He explains that to overnight this, its going to be 75 dollars. But then he says, "dont worry bro, I got you". He does some magic on the computer for a minute or two, and then says "check out this price", and it rings up $10.08. As he is going over my final paperwork, he whispers "a tip would be nice". I leave a 20. Package arrived as expected.

I have just purchased some 10x salvia. Because it is easy to acquire. Pretty excited about it.

Well that was pretty ****ing lame. Got a real strong head buzz like I haven't felt before, but no visuals. And it tastes so bad.

yeah the first time i did salvia it did nothing.
so i went out and got the 16x or something, smoked a bowl and nothing happend at first and i thought well that was a waste of time and money and than it hit me like a ton of bricks and i was totally ****ing out for a few minutes i guess maybe just a minute.
