woah! kinda crazy how similar it looks next to each other, especially with the fading around the edges but it's still pretty different. i'm sure it is easy to find similar images considering it's kind of horizonishy. thanks for bumping the thread it's a reminder that i need to get painting again!

lol, yes it will be. it should be a pretty nice upgrade really. except its a 30 min drive... so that will suck.

not long before giving my notice i found out that the wifi we were all using was actually a mobile hotspot costing them over $300/mo when they could just provide wifi from the internet service they pay for but are too dumb to set it up... they don't know what they are doing there at all! i tried to explain to the guy responsible for that stuff (the owners brother in law who doesn't know anything) and he just said the router is out of range, i try to offer reasonable solutions explaining switches or repeaters etc and he literally got so overwhelmed he was about to cry so i decided to just stay out of it. his solution instead is to buy 10 tablets and limit usage to 2gb a month, he said he gets a good deal for 6 months so it will buy him time to figure something out. no one wants the dumb tablets. it's just so dumb, you have the internet, ahhh!

yeah i won't be missing that place at all. i did scatch my car once more before i left though the ONE other time i parked there when i knew i shouldn't but was pressured. luckily it was in the same spot.. uhh. other than that i stuck with paying for parking in the ramp (aka parking garage).

Do you have anything new, gorie? I checked your etsy first (obv). I enjoy Escape 3, Forest, Raven Sphere, and Purple Atmosphere every day. (Escape 3 is my favorite with low light on it).

Copyrights do not apply to fine art... only to materials that are "marketed".

First order of business in copyright infringement is a cease and disist... that is not applicable in a one off item lime a painting. Copyright infringement only occurs in marketed items by where ongoing revenues are being generated.

Making a painting of a one dollar bill does not constitute counterfeiting.

Sampling a song for reissue DOES incur infringement because it is an ongoing enterprise.

That's nowhere near the same thing as what you said in your last post. You said that copyright does not apply to fine art.

hi guys, sorry for bumping an old post, but I was wondering if anyone would still be interested in gorie art. I have some still available and I would like to get back into painting some more - if anyone would be interested please let me know. It would still be in my abstract styles as I can't really do realism anymore due to chronic pain and a broken brain.
