Does anyone have experience with dog vertigo? I took him to the vet in the middle of the night fearing a stroke. The next step is a head scan, but it sounds like there is nothing they can do if it's a tumor.

i do not but sure wish i did, so sorry Randall.
how old is your boy?
fingers crossed for the entire Stevens clan
Talked to the breeder (sorry I didn't adopt). It could be an ear issue, but zero other symptoms. The ER vet made it seemed like this was common knowledge about vertigo.
It's vestibular disease. The good news is that as long as it's not a brain tumor, it's not bad. It's just scary as hell. The vet asked if his eyes were twitching (like he was dizzy). I thought it was a stroke, so I was looking for pupil dilation.
He's doing well aside from a little drool and his back legs slipping.

Thank for the well wishes.
Dang! That was a new one for me, and it sent me to the Google. I was afraid he had been cursed by an Episcopalian priest. Hoping the cause is something benign. You guys have fun!
