They discovered a heart condition which will require monitoring, and he'll obviously have follow up for a while, but the likelihood of a full or almost recovery is high.

They are now larger, but just as likely to attack toes/more likely to be found atop the living room drapes. Both found in the same barn. Two litters, two weeks apart. Mother cats have now been spayed. Interestingly, the younger kitten's mom is the older one's grandma.
The hardest thing about pets (other than parrots and tortoises) is that even when they live a good long life, we need to say good-bye to them. We lost our cats of 17+ years last year, and even with it having been a great life for both of them, it was very hard.
Huge props to those giving happy homes to rescue animals!
