Our house has an attached garage with a breezeway in between. There's a door that goes into the kitchen and a little alcove where the washer/dryer used to go. We moved the washer/dryer into the garage and used the alcove space for the two cat genies. Only way we can have so many cats without litter boxes everywhere lol

Tell me about it. We only have the 2 cats, but also have 3 normal boxes in addition to the Litter Robot. The orange one (mine) is a ****ing ******* and will poop on the floor right in front of a litter box that isn’t sparkling clean.

He’s done this all his life. Every vet examination has always resulted in, “Yeah sorry, your cat is just an *******.”

I of course love him a ridiculous amount anyway. I probably have those cat parasites in my brain.

Thanks, y’all. He barely got to 9 years, growing mast cell tumors for at least half of that. Clock’s been ticking for a while, was hoping for a few more years but it very abruptly became time. I’ll never forget him, he was a perfect dog, had a good life while he was here.

If it weren't for his white chest, he'd be camo. Judging from that first pic (second one also if he got there on his own), camo would probably come in handy for him

god damn dmatz sorry to hear that

vet called today with Monty's blood work results. described them as "pretty unremarkable." something with the thyroid is a little high so i have to pick up some pills tomorrow (can't wait to try to give him those)

surgery is scheduled for 6/17. vet said that as far as surgeries go, remove one large and one small mass, it's as basic as it gets. drop Monty off in morning and pick him up in afternoon.

we'll see.

Pro tip: crush pills in a half teaspoon of chicken broth and administer as a liquid, turkey baster style.

I have to wrap my cat Frankie up in a blanket to give him liquid meds from a syringe. It's ridiculous. He thinks I'm trying to kill him every single time.

Thanks Nate, hope all goes well with the cat.

I am also in the I ain’t paying large vet bills for an old animal camp… until it’s my animal anyway lol.

Definitely sunk 5 figures into my dog in the last couple years. Worth it, if the money isn’t a big deal. Would be a tough tough choice if the money is a dealbreaker.
