I'll see your monochromatic cats and raise you two orange cats. Also from cleaning out old pics from my phone--which is what your post reminded me of.
"Our" previously feral cat, Scrawny (not so much any more), giving wide berth to an intruding king snake while our cat Oliver watches in the background from the safety of the porch.

i can sleep with a smile on my face tonight
haven't had a cat since before meeting spouse, she's really allergic.
even though, or perhaps because, she grew up around farm cats like Swaz.
we tried a siamese once but even that didn't work.
dogs no problem so that's what stuck
