This is our 6 year old Miniature Schnauzer Lula. She's a total floozy with any human who shows her some attention. She's not a big fan of strange dogs, especially big ones, but she adores Alfie.

Oliver the cat who spends most of his time outside because of my allergy. He has done yeoman's work in maintaining control of the yard. He was being a little over-ambitious here, and when one of these buzzards spread his wings, he reconsidered and sauntered back toward the house. He usually has a couple of strays or ferals who keep him company. We have them fixed, and then consider them residents.

These two guys rule inside. Mini Schnauzer on the left; Mini Schnauzer mix rescue on the right. The rescue is a contender for the best dog I've ever had.

we took Mose to the farm this weekend. not 'the farm' farm, but the in-law's place (where Swaz lived)...and his favorite place on earth.
he turned 14 a couple of months ago and this may be his last trip until the ashes.
he's had TPL surgery on both back legs, the most recent five years ago, the oldest seven. not surprisingly arthritis has taken over and he's prone to falling down, hence the harness. you can tell by his crooked stance from behind

Love Mose! The fact that all big dogs' hips go before their minds is a sad state of affairs. Best dog I ever had also had TPL surgery from chasing one too many squirrels. I miss her tons.
