GET THE HELMET!!!

I wish my head wasn't flat. Really. If I could go back in time, I would put a helmet on myself or roll around more while sleeping.
LF Slim - read the above over v. carefully. What you're seeing is future Jack posting on 2p2. Will it be the above post, or will it be:

"BRAG: I HAZ A PERFECTLY SHAPED HEAD11!!!"

Yeah lol, if you don't do it, kid is going to find out your old 2p2 sn, and start searching the internet wayback machine for giggles. Then he stumbles on this thread...

Aren't you supposed to be worried about how your ankles are fat or something?

there was a time when nobody had braces either and "omg your gonna put metal brackets on your teeth? I nvr had that, you don't need it!!!"

the point is this will become standard, this is no different from braces except instead of having the things for 2yrs when your 15 you have them for 3months when your a baby.

I don't think three-month-old babies have enough teeth to have braces.

LFS, I haven't got the foggiest clue whether or not you should get the helmet, but if it weren't for this thread, I don't think I would have even noticed his conehead.

VR that commitment to accuracy is admirable, but around some parts they call you a nit for it.

cute kid though, i don't mean to say it isn't. i'd get him the helmet though.

for full disclosure, my ears are off and it used to drive me nuts when i was a teenager. i don't care about it all anymore though.

my cousin wore one when he was an infant. Now he's chubby, pale, and has a HUGE head.

Someday, if you have a 16-year old daughter, are you going to get her implants if her breasts aren't round enough, or big enough, or plump enough, or firm enough??

Our son had one for a few months, and it went by really quickly. Only memorable thing was overhearing someone say "Hey momma, look at that baby head," which we still say to this day.

Be prepared if you do wind up getting it - the fitting SUCKS. They have to take a plaster cast of your son's head, which means holding him still for about 10-20 minutes while the plaster dries - basically covering his entire head with this, with air holes for his nose. Not fun. It would have been better if I did that solo and my wife wasn't in the room.

If insurance covers it, it's really a no-brainer to get the helmet. And you can take it off for a little while if there are any situations that you or your wife are really self-conscious about. Also, we did stickers that you can change every couple of weeks. No matter the design, you'd probably get sick of anything after a while.

save the 4 grand so when your kid starts taking roids to play sports in high school you can afford high quality dope so your kid looks more like a-rod instead of the governator

your kid is adorable LFS, and his head doesn't look seriously flat, but you should get the helmet. It's only 3 mos., and you'll never get a do-over on this.

LFS, I would be more concerned about the droopy corners of the mouth and the neck roll. Also nose points up too much, chin is too small, ears are too big, and there's a large bulge in the forehead. He'll thank you later for taking care of these now.

The name of the cranial health place should be:

THREE CARD MONTE'S BRAIN BUCKET JOINT: IF YOU DON'T BUY OUR **** YOU DON'T LOVE YOUR KID!

...but that's way too long to fit on a sign.
