Never really post in LC threads but need a reality check/need to vent on something that is driving me crazy.

For the past 2 weeks I have been trying to send out some fairly important mail and have put the mail hanging half out of my mailbox so the postman can take it when he comes to deliver. The mail is CLEARLY not addressed to anyone at this address but my idiot fellow tenants keep bringing the mail inside.

This being OOT let me try to answer some of your questions before they are asked. The closest mailbox is 3/4 of a mile away and I do not drive and am not capable of standing or walking for long periods of time. I have family somewhat close, but don't really want to ask them to drive a 1/2 hour to 45 minutes out of their way for something that should be so simple.

Am I wrong in thinking that people should know how the ****ing mail works??? I think it was part of my 3rd grade education.

I know you said you can't walk long distances, but what about short distances, like distances under a mile?

Failing that, go with...
(1) politely request that the idiots not bring it in;
(2) give it to your mailman;
(3) Uber/Lyft to the mailbox; or
(4) ask your family.

Realistically, (2) is as far as this should go. If the mail really is important, you are going to be willing to keep an eye out for the mailman. And if your fellow tenants aren't being *******s on purpose, they will stop bringing in the mail if you ask them to.

#14,000 on the list of stuff that is weird about Ohio: At 7:30 tonight, a massive fireworks display started going off somewhere near my house. It is probably 35dF out, rainy, and cloudy.

There are random fireworks displays ALL THE TIME. It's the worst.

No problem with 90s SJP when her hair was a mess and she was in a bathing suit of some sort (Honeymoon in Vegas, LA Story). It's now when she's older and with straighter hair and sallow that just accentuates the horseface that things have gone off the rails.

Lapka has basically blamed Howard for her leaving OOT (as in shoot) forever. And she's just the one that's spoken out! Can you imagine how many hundreds (if not thousands) of untold people have quietly left 2+2 forever because of the bigotry and hate speech he spreads here on a daily basis?
