Rundown,

The lowlights have been The Goonies and a few sitcoms like Webster and Silver Spoons. The kids like Punky Brewster so far. Also, I’ll probably rile up Suzzer if he sees this, but I watched Jaws a few months back and it was horrible.

Jo,

My kids are too young for those yet, this may actually be the first live action movie my daughter liked front to back. If he liked the Big Lebowski you have the whole Cohen Brothers library to expose him to. Sticking with comedy—Raising arizona, the hudsucker proxy, oh brother where art thou. Fun times!

The pooptoad and pickle juice guesses were fun, but since Bighurt already explained himself, here's the context, for non FF-thread readers:

Ferris Buehler’s Day Off might be another choice for you, JT. My kids quite liked that and it seems to have withstood the test of time.

Today I put some of my poop in a box, sealed it up, and sent it to someone. I am undecided if this was preferable to a colonoscopy.

Death rates from pooping are considerably lower than from colonoscopy.

You read the fine print? Better then a 1-in-10 chance (13% if I remember correctly) for false-positive or false-negative, so no matter what the result, if you want to be sure, you have to go get a "real" test.

Just because they say you are clear (or not!), doesn't mean you are.

False negative is 8%. Since less than 1% of people have colon cancer that means less than 80 out of 100,000 will get the false negative. False positive is 13%. All that means is you go get the scope.

I hope you enclosed a Christmas card.

That is the best a butt doc can ever hope to get from me in the future. I've had my first and last colonoscopy.

I am supposed to have a colonscopy but have politely declined thus far.

Didace, have you had one?

My mother had her first colonoscopy at 75 years old. They told her that everything looked so great that she didn't need to have it redone for twenty years. Seriously.

This. Not quite as bad as whoever said Big Trouble in Little China was terrible, but close!

I watched War Games again not too long ago, and its sick how good that movie holds up.

yeah, I would have thought more people die on the ****ter than from a colonoscopy. Anecdotally I know two people who died on the ****ter. Plus you **** waaaaaaaaay more often than you have a colonoscopy. So yeah, pooping, final answer.
