Re: Parents getting scammed by a conwoman ("homeopathist"), anything I can do?

Additional data point.

After my friend died, his mum went far down the spiritual route. We all thought it was harmless if it made her feel better.

9 years later she has moved the entire family to a farm on high ground in another state because shes predicting a global catastrophe for the entire west coast.

Last time we spoke i couldn't get off the phone until i memorized the address of the farm so i could find it after the apocalypse.

Have you noticed what is happening on the west coast? Isn't this the climate change doomsday scenario? Start of a trend, IMO.

I watched a documentary years ago about a family who moved to a state in the US with lax gun laws and built a house on a mountain because they thought the apocalypse was coming, when the government called the dad to court and he didn't show they sent in the army like 400 troops against a family of 5, was really shocking.

cant remember the name of the documentary but was crazy how it turned out.

Yesterday the east coast had 40 degree swings in temp. It has gone from a foot of snow to light windbreaker weather to hours of hail.

Reiki distance healing is probably the most effective alternate medicine. Reiki knows no boundaries or barriers and a Reiki master can send thel healing properties of Reiki to anyone or anything, anyway in the world at any time.

I can send Reiki to you, to your friends and family, to your pets, to your business, your neighbourhood and to help with events, past and future ... the list is endless and is only limited by your imagination.

When distance healing is sent, people often report feeling the same type of calming sensation they would during a normal session. Distance Reiki can bring your energy fields into balance while you go about your normal day. You don’t even have to know someone is sending you healing energy.

I have an ex girlfriend that does this and she sincerely believes that it works/helps people. It's anecdotal but a lot of these people aren't intentionally conning people, they're just stupid or crazy as I've met several of her peers and they seem similarly enthusiastic about that stuff

She fell into the "cult" at the end of our relationship so I wasn't worried about cock blocking. It actually all started when she went to see a "physical therapist" who started her on an anti inflammation duet and then homeopathy and then some crazy meditation stuff and then the Rehki. Now she is a professional "healer", smh

Parents getting scammed by a conwoman ("homeopathist"), anything I can do?

My dog has done reiki. The healer put healing rocks all over his body. She said he has some slight stomach issues and I should consider changing his diet. It was $1 a minute.

My dog has also done “Sound Healing Yoga” at the cancer center with me. He was the only dog in attendance. It calmed him. The class cost $8.

What was the results? Have you considered getting your dog to actually learn reiki and then apply it to other dogs? Just a thought for a nice little side project.

I will get crushed on conventional medicine.

I will win Big Pharma. This category will include R&D, marketing, insurance coverage, PMB, etc. Everything that is not involve the actual medication.

Overtime will be scams involving procuring medication illegally.

I am a part-owner of a pharmacy.

Are you serious? I don't know **** about dog reiki. The money was going to charity. I had a ten spot on me that bought 10 minutes of healing power. After about 7 minutes of crystals I got bored and said thank you.

Side business? I run a human medical practice. Not a dog yoga studio. Plus $60 an hour isn't enough for me to take a cut. Reiki doctors are sole practitioners.

Grunching as I just read the OP

Honestly if this were me, I would go tell the quack in no uncertain terms that if she continues to see my mother the outcome will be very unfavorable for her.

Its impossible to know if these people believe their own bull**** or are just straight up pieces of **** con artists, but I wouldnt feel the list bit bad about threatening someone, even a woman, if they were taking advantage of my family.

I really feel for you man, that sucks

If you have to purposefully use language to obfuscate and mislead people as to what you do maybe you should consider a different life. You're basically Matilda's dad.

What the **** are you talking about that I obfuscate and mislead people? I am the head administrator of a ****ing medical practice. I don't hide anything about what I do. I am a glorified pencil pusher. I have zero actual healthcare experience. I think I took a 2-hour CPR course at one time. Yet, I am in charge of everything. Welcome to America's healthcare system.

So, you can stop with you trying to say what I do and don't do. I also work for a hospice company, home health, a skill-nursing facility, a senior living center, an MRI/CT company, I am part-owner in a pharmacy, am on the board of an Alzheimer's facility, and a few other boring stuff that I get bored just writing.

And yes, I am the ESA Kingpin. That is a whole different beast. I am the number one authoritative figure in the world on the subject.

I am the oil that makes the car run.

ESA is a sideshow business.

I know every scam in the healthcare playbook. Name it and I will tell you how they are making additional money or creatively getting doctors paid. Surgery center? Medical directorships. Out of network billing. Two separate entrances to the same facility. One is for Medicare. One is for everything else. Balance billing requirement. Send one statement to “wrong” address. Have one doctor in network and an attending physician out of network.

These people will get caught. Eventually. Or not. I wouldn’t want to live being concerned. But these people don’t seem that worried. All it takes is one aggrieved ex-employee to blow the whistle. And they get 15% of recovery. Happens all the time.

Now you can back to your silly vitamin discussion.

Lol. Every business has a factotum that does all the **** work to keep the business up and running who can be replaced tomorrow by someone else making $15/hr. They're called secretaries, and all are well-informed on how the day-to-day operations work.

I don't read the ESA thread and I skim most of your posts so I probably missed it, but the medical center that you "run" specializes in what form of medical service?
