I still don’t get it. You trust this guy enough to take highly diluted poison as a remedy, yet don’t trust him when he tells you table salt is a remedy for your condition.

The table salt was also going to be diluted to the point that it was just tap water. That's the genius of it; the guy can just keep naming things until he finds one the googler will agree to and it doesn't matter. None of the 'substance' is gonna end up getting ingested anyway.

This would bother me to hell as well OP, primarily because I can see my parents falling for this.

However I take the side of the lot of 2p2. If she isn't passing up on conventional care in lieu of psuedoscience and can afford it, then there's not much of a case to be made. The only argument I could come up with is that paying pseudoscientists encourages their existence and incentivizes more people to get into it but that might be a bit abstract for your parents.

Obviously the correct play here is to find the homeo’s mum (hire dirk gently if you have to) and sell her magnetic bracelets, magic ph water and aura therapy. Since you are the rational one you should be able to pull this scam off better than the original homeo and either keep the monies as your inheritance or give it back to your mom to pay for her homeo.

“Conventional” medicine just has slightly better outcomes. Supposedly.

Like the flu vaccine. I think a couple of years ago, it was determined it only helped 18% of patients. That isn’t a success. Probably can inject sugar water and the have same outcome.

I am very skeptical of big pharma. The studies/data to get something approved are lol. To get patients taking the drug, all that matters is money. Lobbying and marketing.

And no, I don’t think other vaccines cause autism. But there is definitely a non-zero chance they cause other externalities. We really don’t study the negative side effects and it is probably for the best. They are 99.9% effective and society benefits from everyone being vaccinated.
