Strictly for attracting high-quality mates, the lower your socioeconomic class is, the earlier you peak. Manual laborers or service/retail workers probably peaked in high school or shortly after high school. Low-level office workers may peak in college or not long after. Professionals like doctors and lawyers probably peak in their early to mid 30's Those who reach the top of their professions or become independently wealthy may peak in their late 30's to early 40's.

As with anything, individual variation can definitely dominate over subgroup averages. What happened in your 40's? Older man charm seems to peak around early to mid-40's

I'm a network engineer, 40s was gaining experience.

I got lucky to have landed (been acquired by) a company that has exploded over the past 4 years. I've been pushed by necessity into expanding my skillset/market value accordingly.

It wasn't until my 30s that I started to sort out what I really wanted in life. My 20s were great, but there was a lot of trial and error pursuing things that turned out not to matter.

OP's reasoning was pretty clueless, but as a near 50 year old readying for the ice floe, I voted late twenties. Reasoning:

1) At a mature level of physical condition/strength; you've reached your full height and mature weight, and you still wake up feeling good most mornings

2) Have your first taste of adult money while still being relatively conditioned to scraping by as a starving college student; having two grand in the bank feels like you're rich
because you haven't acquired many expensive tastes/debt/bills yet

3) Social circle is a nice combo of your school buddies because you haven't drifted apart yet and your work colleagues/network as you've started gaining professional experience; you have friends to hang out with whether you want to be mature or immature on a weekend

4) Work is still interesting and challenging because it's all new and you're still enthusiastic and it feels like you're well paid

5) Likely still exploring for the potential long term relationship while retaining the option of short terms

If it's about getting laid by girls in their early twenties, my best results so far were the years 37-40. And the only reason that will go downhill soon is likely because I'll be less interested in it.

I had/have higher self esteem, net worth, self confidence, etc at this age than at any previous age. I'm sure this isn't that uncommon amongst non family oriented men.
