Is there any consensus on Dots products hierarchy? I've only tried the red (original) and blue (southwest) flavors. The blue is incredibly hard to put down after starting, not necessarily in a good way lmao!

Apparently discontinued in 2018, found a (new) bag at the gas station. Pretty good, slightly spicy, munchable. Would buy again.

Sale at local Kroger today, buy 4 of various brands, get the sale price. Something called Zapp's was one of the brands. Apparently, they're New Orleans style (Voodoo flavor, whatever that means) chips.

Get over to the aisle, they have a few varieties (including something called "Spicy Cajun Crawtators"), but no Voodoo.

Sad dog. Maybe next time.

Big fan of Zapp's. Got a variety case delivered, even. Totally worth it. I remember one variety was head and shoulders (IMO) above the rest, but 5+ years later, I can't remember which one.

I'll be that guy who despises Zapp's. Requires far too much effort and dental risk to eat a chip. There is no flavor they could put on one to win me over. There are many other chips in the sea.

Zapp's also has a Voodoo seasoning, pretty good on fries imo.

They have the Voodoo flavor also on pretzel sticks but I haven't tried them yet. And a spicy chips version called "Voodoo Heat" (or something like that) which is pretty good.

you are correct, at times they can have some hard sharp edges

i do enjoy the voodoo flavor that madlex mentions
but i've never tried it on fries or sticks

eta: What I do hate is when a restaurant serves Zapp's as a side to burgers etc without noting it on a menu. Just a waste of food and an annoyed customer when it happens to me.

I wanna say the Jalapeno was the best of the variety I got, but when I looked online, I only saw the "Hotter n Hot Jalapeno", and I know that wasn't it. Thinking back, this was probably more like 10 years ago. I think I moved that box from the condo to the house when we moved last.
