Good reminder, thx. Apparently Whole Foods' deal is a $3.14 discount off of bakery pies. I'll probably try to pick one up.

Some regional chains like Marie Callender's and Baker's Square are offering a free slice of pie with entree purchase.

Earlier today, I got the last Whole Foods apple pie for $6.86. Everything else left was vegan apple pie, vegan cherry pie, etc, maybe 30-40 vegan items left. Lol at overstocking vegan pies.

Just popped the apple pie in the oven for 10 min, then had a slice with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. Delightful.

Anyone else get their PI on today?

It's time for another pie! This time it's dedicated a little less to me and a little more to a friendly BBVer. Please enjoy.

Das berries (one pint firm, one pint soft)

Die mixen (1 cup white sugar, 4 tbsp flour, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 pinch salt)

Crustenfester (The best possible store-bought crust because this is a rushed-effort for dinner tomorrow night and I didn't have time to make the crust i.e. I'm lazy)

Pie mit lecker lecker (Two tsp of butter or so dabbed out, one tsp lemon juice to give a tart bite)

Pie!

White nectarines were perfection this week so this is a white nectarine pie with some cinnamon and ginger. Also decided to up my lattice game by attempting a twill.
