Cereal with whipped cream sounds good now that you mention it.

Did we ever reach a conclusion to pielebration?

Is there ever a conclusion to the celebration of pie? I think not.

AF,

I will put together highlights of ROUND ONE of pielebration, but it seems clear to me that the pielebration deserves to continue here indefinitely!

That's a lot of crust for $40

It's Trader Joe's, not Whole Foods.

Very firm.

I would add more sugar but I'm sweet enough already.

Sugar and spice and everything nice

Due to time constraints we are using these little lovelies, I recommend them if you don't have time to do a good job on the crust

We'll have a finished pie by tomorrow!

It's the same exact recipe and procedure except replace the plain sugar with brown sugar, and add a sprinkling of ginger to the dry mix! (maybe a quarter tea-spoon. And six cups of peeled/sliced apples instead of blueberries obviously.

GOOD LUCK! It's an amazing recipe. Doesn't have to sit as long but it's nice to let it rest so the mix caramelizes a bit.

I was distracted by The Accountant while pinching the crust closed...derp

I'd like to thank God, my mother, the academy, El Diablo and all of OOT that doesn't find my pie distasteful!

When did you add the eggs?
asking for a friend.

Generally over-easy to medium, right after the pie is made!

my friend thinks medium eggs won't provide the appropriate amount of moisture. have you considered poaching or broasting?
