Don't underestimate the fat hobo lobby.

One of the characteristics of a juicy burger—any juicy burger—is that it will saturate the bun if left to its own devices. If it doesn't do this, then you about to consume a less than ideal burger. What you're perceiving as a negative is actually a pretty big positive.

You don't need to dip the CFA sandwich btw. It's delicious as it.
Fair enough. However, if a burger already comes with a **** ton of toppings, it's part of that item. Dipping sauce isn't part of a chicken sandwich. Chicken nuggets? Sure. But not the sandwich.

Disclaimer: I know nothing about how a 5G burger comes. I was more referring to something like a big mac, whopper, or spicy chicken from Wendy's.

lol if an item is gross after a five minute drive home then maybe, just maybe it isn't the GOAT FF item.

Meh. This isn't the Expedient Service Championship. This is (basically) the Which Item Makes Your Mouth Water The Most competition. And that damn sure isn't a chicken sandwich.

This is a positive.

went to chickfila for first time yesterday. dont see how you can say the sauce isnt part of the sandwich. they practically force it on you

voting chick fil a by the way. if it was ultimate taste this would be a different story (then again you wouldnt have a 5 guys burger in the finals...) but its not. Chick fil a sandwich is simple, delicious. theres a ton of locations, it takes no time at all to make. you could eat it often and its not terribly unhealthy. you arent TKO for 2 hrs after eating it. against slightly more worthy competotion it would be interesting but five guys is a 10 minute 10 dollar burger and is inferior to our local chargrilled burger greasy spot in every single aspect (except number of locations)

Think the 5G getting soggy on the ride home may be due to them using regular aluminum foil to wrap the burger after cooking. When I make my ham + cheese bagel in the morning and wrap it up with alum. foil that bitch is soggy too after waiting a 20-30 minutes to eat it.

Easiest vote ever: hamburger + hamburger.

LOL at chicken for GOAT. Makes no sense.

It's like you've never had a decent burger before or something. Five Guys is a fast casual restaurant, and the items are made with that in mind. This competition ruled that fast casual restaurants qualify as fast food, so the lack of portability should be a non-issue.

EDIT: I deleted an earlier post before I noticed SenorKeeed had already responded to it. My bad.

If you can't get it drunk at midnight with the few bucks left in your pocket it shouldn't be in this competition.

Cfa and in n out are the kings of fast food because their quality, service, value, speed and consistency are unmatched, which leads to them developing cult followings, which leads to the unleashing of the haters bitching about how they're overrated.

And to everyone spite voting five guys b/c of the gay marriage issue: That'll show em!

Thin,

Have you had CFA?

And the answer to your question is "one cooked in a high-pressure fryer."

I'm sorry but fast food you can't take home and enjoy it nearly as much as if you eat it in the restaurant just isn't good fast food. Portability is a key requirement of fast food.

Not as ruled by this competition (which is what matters). Now, if you want to start your own 2+2 fast food competition with your preferred definition of fast food, then have at it.

lol wat?

It's fast food. >50% of the time, you go to the DT, bring it home, THEN eat. If the item losing that much of it's quality in 15 minutes, it shouldnt be the goat FF item.

CFA still GOAT after the ride home.

Where was the ruling that portability can't be considered as a factor when evaluating a fast food item's greatness?
