I also like CHON. They toured with AAL and Conquering Dystopia, but they are a different sort of sound.

Yeah, it's weird. The first time I heard CHON I said 'wow I hope this isn't jazz because I totally hate jazz and I love this' haha. They are like the lowest-end metal side of AAL stuff but still very interesting and enjoyable. I guess they fall out of this 'extreme metal' thread, but they're still great. Very glad I found them.
