Coming at you from the felt at chasers...
Undertitle...when I was new here, I stupidly asked the mods for a custom undertitle. At the time I had a coffee thread going.

Mods gave me the under title of “Roastie” which I had for the longest time.

I googled roastie and it had nothing to do w coffee, but the name of a woman’s nether region when it’s all gross w hanging meat that looks like roast beef.

Which btw is the opposite of my situation.

Anyway, after a lot of posting and being Roastie forever I asked the mods to remove it and I got “tight lipped”.

Don't play a lot of poker these days, but the last time I had a really hot session, I had played for a while and tried to obey etiquette by giving a 20-minute warning when I was close to leaving. Players were quick to agree that giving notice like that was an antiquated practice (and one player added that he wanted me to go away so that he could claim my seat, which he scrambled to do when I got up to leave shortly thereafter).

I've always tried to show deference and respect to the notion that hit-and-run is bad etiquette, but I've never really understood why it's actually an objectively bad thing to do.
