Is this the consensus? I’ve heard people swear up and down you can eat absolutely as much as you want as long as there’s no carbs but it strikes me that calories are calories and the efficacy could be it’s almost impossible to od on calories if eating only protein and veg and no carbs

I think it is around 110B, but that’s obviously an estimate because our historical demographic data isn’t accurate. But that’s the number I’ve seen estimated before.

I thought I'd read somewhere that the human population today is greater than the number of humans that came before. So one of these is obviously way off.

Googling now, I think 110B is a pretty low estimate. Someone comes up with 107B going back only 50k years. I think estimates for the origin of **** sapiens have been pushing back and closer to 100k years might be better.
