Yeah, well if you wear a suit 5 days a week you presumably are trying not to smell like a horse just took a dump on you so its a necessity.

I would rather replace suits every year or two over smelling like crap.

Single seats are open all the time on rides that have 4 seats in each row. Many times you'll have a group of 3-4 friends that want to ride together. In which case if a group of 2 or 3 just entered the ride before you, they'll wait until the next car instead of just filling those empty seats. Stupid, I know, but that's what people do.
They have them at BG its just not well organized on many of the older rides. I think six flags blows in every way. Not surprised they don't have this convenience.

along these lines if you are trying to snag a girl find out what her father is like, most women will be drawn towards men who remind them of their father.

Typically the first row doesnt have any seats in front of you so you have to put your backpack or whatever overhead. Your digestive system stays 'awake' in a sense, because you're constantly salivating, chewing, spitting, swallowing, tasting, etc. And having your digestive system churning and active keeps the rest of you awake (without weighing you down or making you sleepy, because you aren't actually eating much).

Again, no idea if this is legit, but it makes sense to me.
My friend is the worst when it comes to driving at night and this has helped him overcome it many times and stay awake.

Order Cable Internet (Just internet, not TV service). Plug in TV and you now have Basic Cable (about 60 channels for me) and Internet for about $25-$35 per month. The installer almost never adds the filter to block the TV signal.

In Australia, items are not permitted to be placed under the seats in an exit row. I am surprised that this is different in different jurisdictions.

I have 60ish channels and all cable channels (by definition) are Digital. However, if by digital, you mean HD, zero. But if you have an HD TV, you probably don't need to steal cable.

Everyone should probably have one of these: A Mexican Blanket

My BIL in Austin sent us one. It started out stiff and course, but after a few washes it became the go-to blanket in the house because of it's soft, warm goodness.

it was the opposite for me. when we had a crappy TV, we didn't get any channels. but once i bought an HDTV, all of a sudden we had a ton of (mostly HD) channels that we weren't paying for (only had internet). like i said, it went away after a month or two, but we were getting a bunch of HD channels for free.

Find a copy of something by Dr. Chester L. Karass on CD. Listen to it in the car while you drive. It's a great seminar. I found a copy of it on tape in my parents basement when I was about 13 or 14 and gave it a listen. It's very interesting and very helpful.

If you cry too much while cutting onions, store them in the fridge. That reduces the amount of acid that is "sprinkled" into the air while cutting.

Or wear swimming goggles while you cut them.

I have enjoyed this thread so I would like to contribute:

1 When out at a bar my friend said to me "see that girl walking over I met her last time I was here but I cant remember her name.... ****." So she walks up says hi to him they talk for all of 20 seconds and I lean in and say "hey your not going to introduce me to your friend? Hey im Tony and you are ?" She's says her name I say "cool nice meeting you, I am going to go grab a beer" I roll off give them some time. life trick wingmanship

2 Always have a clean change of nice clothes in your car. A dry-cleaned dress shirt hanging in the backseat and nice jeans/slacks can be a life saver in last minute plans or if you stain something your wearing when you are out for the night. (bottle or 2 of champagne/wine and a blanket in the trunk is a great move as well) Any time the situation arises ..... a simple "Well i have some wine/champagne and a blanket in the trunk..." can have very +ev results
*Note be careful about sealed bottles in hot cars if it is very hot out. Wine bottles will shoot the cork out and spill everywhere if its like 100+ degrees out* I learned this the hard way

This is very area dependent. usually 'basic' cable is about 20 channels, and expanded is 60. The cable company I work for automatically charges customers an extra $10/month if they get internet without TV service for this very reason, but they only get 20 channels.

By what definition? You can still pick up TV signals over analog cable without a digital box in most areas. The headend may be digital, but the signal is broadcast transmitted in both digital and analog still. What's it matter anyways, by the time you see it, everything is analog. Also, if you have an HD TV with a tuner, you can typically tune network TV in HD, it's Clear QAM.
