You can take pictures with your phone too. Unless you're Ansel Adams they should suffice and you don't have to worry about texting or emailing them to yourself.

I just had really bad heartburn and the combo of Tums and Zantac 150 just wasn't cutting it.

I went with a spoonful of plain yellow mustard. I repeated it 3 times over the course of an hour and half or so and BOOM no heartburn. The initial relief took about 3 mins to kick in. It was not appetizing but it sure beats heartburn!

Did you read that somewhere, or just randomly tried something?

I read it somewhere. It said it has to do with the turmeric or alkaline. I can't find the exact link right now.

I remember reading that if you need to throw up you should drink a TBSP of mustard in water. So I'm kinda surprised you didn't throw up.

A recent life hack I've realized is that if you're carrying something hot without a handle, like a bowl full of soup, holding it from underneath on the thick ceramic ring is the best way to avoid burning your hands. That extra ceramic material insulates really well.

I've started putting milk and cream in my coffee mug BEFORE the coffee. A trivial benefit is that I don't need to stir the drink because the pouring blends it naturally.

The real surprise is that I'm convinced the resulting coffee tastes better. I'm pretty sure it's similar to Willy Wonka's idea of using a chocolate waterfall to mix his chocolate.

You're all welcome.

I do that at home with my Vanilla Creamer and agree it works very well. Added benefit is it doesn't dirty a spoon.

I've heard mixing a TBSP of mustard in a cup of cold milk works.

I use small amount of heavy cream (sometimes frothed), but do this as well. Definitely makes a difference.

Butter in coffee or even beef tallow in coffee are delicious.

Fisher created an exact test just for the sole purpose of proving you wrong on this.

This sounds like something I must try. But it also seems that it will be very bad for me if I do like it. I hope I am alert enough tomorrow morning to remember to try it.

Curse you, amoeba!

Beef tallow? I believe you, but what's next? Bacon grease? Pure lard?!

I do have a jar of lard that I may experiment with.

Coconut oil in coffee along with butter is also pretty delicious but fairly aggressive on the digestive system.

I've discovered that by constantly folding the corner of my pillow into smaller and smaller folds - I can squeeze an extra minute or two of coolness before I have to flip it.

I also keep my bedroom like 55 degrees and sleep like a log.

I did remember to try a little butter in my first cup of coffee this morning. Not nearly as noticeable a difference as I expected but that was almost certainly because I already add a nice portion of cream to my coffee. I may do it again occasionally for a nice change of pace.
