Go get therapy to try and learn some impulse control and techniques that will help you get more in control of your life. After food and shelter your mental health should be top priority so expenses like meds and therapy need to be at the top of your list not the bottom. Oh and when I say food I mean good healthy food not crappy takaway. You say your child is your number one priority yet not dealing with your mental health issues must be impacting her terribly.

You have actual diagnosed mental issues. Amongst the things that seems to cause in you is that you don't have gradation of emotional response.

You're never "having a good day." You're having THE BEST DAY and everything is awesome and you think that it's going to stay that way forever and you'll quit smoking right now and you'll eat healthy right now and you can probably just quit any prescribed medicine you're on because WOW everything's amazing.

You're never mildly upset at some minor slight against you (perceived or real). You're RAGING AND GOING TO SHOOT A THOUSAND PEOPLE IN THE FACE because life is unfair and you're not worth loving and the world would probably be better off if you were dead.

Etc.

See a ****ing therapist. Don't quit just because you don't like that they say to you. Take your medicine. Do it for your daughter. The only person who should take any blame or responsibility for any pain your daughter experiences is you. You make the decision to let people into her life. You have had opportunities to eliminate that person's access to your daughter every day for years. You've chosen not to. Any amount of anger at him you have, you should have at yourself as well.

It's the ultimate in scumminess coming onto a site and ripping someone off who has openly identified as being mentally ill but I guess they pick their targets. Having said that it was a prime example of Mlylt showing her inability to make good decisions even when given good advice by someone.

These trainwrecks tend to get a huge volume of posts. When catching up I usually just power skim and only read like 20% of the actual words, and I feel like I don't miss anything.

So funny enough, I offered "to close all threads and discussion of MLYLT and permaban her (for her own good)" and she was vehemently against being banned to the point she tried to escalate things to... killa. Who I chatted with the other day and hasn't logged into 2+2 in over a month and was lamenting the PM's he is going to have to read and respond to. So I told her to expect she may be permabanned randomly when he sees it.

This forum is actually super hands free moderating 99.9% of the time.

The .1% you have people like babs/MLYLT who are sometimes constant problems and also send 3-4 PMs in a row that are like 1-2 sentences that each changes the message so you aren't really sure wtf they are saying and then think they have some unalienable right to post here and PM "higher up mods" to try and find people sympathetic to their cause. So you get a barrage of messages when you PM them about anything and its just a black hole of crazy.

Babs was actually pretty funny when he started ATF threads. He would always put in a couple babsisms like he was sick of getting gaped by the mods or stuff about blasting metallica, so he was always kinda playing the role of an angry troll and feeding into it. Babs def lost his cool a lot, but he was also a performer. He enjoyed trying to come up with funny sayings and making people laugh.

With MLYLT its just trying to steer a crazy person into a better direction while becoming a target along the way. I think she is legitimately convinced I have it out for her, like she thinks with everyone else. At this point its pretty obvious she should stop everything she is doing and seek intensive therapy. Part of me thinks the weight loss over the last year was definitely helped by 2+2 and was likely the most difficult thing she has had to do in a long time, so maybe she can be convinced to go to therapy and get herself together. There's definitely a good chance outside 2+2 her life is mostly an echo chamber of people who are also kinda dumb/crazy telling her how great she is.

I bet her co-workers ****ing hate her.

Something kind of magical happened last night and I was really able to reflect on my emotions and actions and just overall craziness.

I have a new friend who has been somewhat in the loop on my relationship with code3. He knows I'm bipolar and crazy and it really doesn't matter to him, he just constantly wants to help. I told him the recent events and I'm just repeating one of my crazy cycles over and over again and he said he would come over so we could have a "cry session" lol.

It's was really awkward but he did this kind of guided meditation with me and just held and hugged me while I cried. He just kept telling me it's okay to be sad, it's okay to cry, find the emotion and bring it forward and release it, everything's going to be okay. This is the first time on my life anyone has ever held me while I cried and told me everything will be okay; it was the best thing I have ever felt in my life. I pretended it was code3 holding me and saying that to me and then I pretended it was other various people and it was like magic, like this longing had been filled. We did some other stuff too like making an energy circle(eyeroll) and bringing things in and letting things go, and some other guided meditation stuff.

After all that he wanted to read all the messages I sent to code3 and give me an unbiased perspective. His conclusion was , yeah I'm bat**** crazy, sending that many text in the timeframe is completely insane, but code3 knows I'm crazy and instead of comforting me and saying he knows I'm upset even if it's not rational and giving me reasurance that everything's going to be okay, he ignores me and then things intensify.

Yes I'm crazy and do crazy things and say crazy things, but code3 knows this and chose to be with me despite this, so why doesnt he change his response when this happens? The same can be asked of me, I know he prioritizes his family, I chose to be with him despite this, so why can't I change my reaction when this happens or take a step back besides I'm just completely crazy.

This guy is just amazing. He'll ask me questions and I'll respond, "I don't want you to think I'm crazy" and he'll say "well I already know your crazy, so let's just talk about it and work through it"
