Code said he was leaving a few hours early to attend his mother's birthday. This still allowed him to spend the huge majority of the weekend with you and you daughter, and attend the game.

You freak out and start acting crazy. Code decides he's no longer coming as a result of this.

You then threaten to kill him and wish death on his family.

You see zero fault on yourself and your threats are justified? Take a step back and evaluate what happened here.

YOU hurt her, by not taking care of your mental health, and being in a completely non-functional relationship. It is YOUR responsibility to prevent such situations from happening. Your idea that threatening someone who disappoints your daughter is appropriate, makes me want to call some emergency service.

I think it's been pretty consistently said here that you two just don't work together. The main fault is on both sides in that you keep coming back for more of the same. Code doesn't post much so we talk to you. Plus, you are wholly responsible for your daughter.

This is bull****. People protect their children all the time without threatening to shoot someone. One of the ways they do it is by not repeatedly putting them in the same situation where they could get hurt.

You are a single parent. It is your responsibility, and yours alone, to protect your kid from things that hurt.

If Code, or anyone else, wishes to marry you/take on the role of Father (which is a lifelong commitment), then and ONLY then can you place blame on someone else for hurting your daughter.

This whole thing is beyond absurd.

If the texts were threatening then yes that's flipping out.

In any case, since you have committed yourself to the position that you would shoot a thousand people in the face to protect your daughter, obviously you'll have no problem sticking with this latest breakup in order to protect her, so congratulations on finally getting out.
